Free Quilt Block Patterns

Quilting is a wonderful craft to take with you anywhere! Reusing scraps from old clothes can make a family heirloom that will be treasured. You can buy beautiful quilting material in fabric stores or on the internet or you can also "scrap" quilt and use pieces of material cut from things around your house.

Here are some sources for material scraps:
Jeans with holes in the knees

Clothes your children have outgrown

Old Sheets, pillowcases, curtains

Old flannel shirts (don't forget to save the buttons for your button jar!)

T-Shirts that could be turned into an all t-shirt quilt
